Migration questions
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Handled right — same URLs where possible, 301s where not, sitemap resubmitted — a small-site migration typically wobbles for a couple of weeks and settles. The horror stories come from migrations done without a redirect map, which is why ours starts with the URL inventory.
Can you get my content out of Wix?
Yes. Wix has no real export, so it is part automated, part careful manual work. Tedious is not the same as impossible — it is priced in.
Is there downtime?
No. The new site gets built and tested on a temporary URL while the old one keeps running; the switch is a DNS change that overlaps rather than gaps.
